SUPPORTING WELLNESS INITIATIVE

A dedicated member of the St. Kitts and Nevis communities, Mrs. Clark has long championed the empowerment of women and girls. Her vision for the KnickerBox Project was born from a simple yet powerful question:

"Imagine being a young girl sitting in class when your period begins unexpectedly—and having no sanitary pads, no clean underwear, and no one to turn to."
For far too many students, this is not an isolated embarrassment—it is a recurring reality that can lead to missed classes, diminished confidence, and barriers to academic success.
The KnickerBox Project addresses this need by providing girls with free essential menstrual hygiene products and undergarments, ensuring they can remain in school with dignity, confidence, and peace of mind. More than a donation of supplies, each KnickerBox represents compassion, opportunity, and the belief that no young woman should have to choose between her education and her basic personal needs.
At the iHeal Wellness & Arts Foundation, we believe that health, dignity, and education are fundamental to thriving communities. We are honored to stand alongside and support Doris Clark and the KnickerBox Project in their mission to empower girls, remove barriers to success, and create a future where every young woman has the resources and confidence to reach her full potential.
Since 2026, the iHeal Wellness & Arts Foundation has proudly partnered with Doris Clark's KnickerBox Project, supporting its mission through financial contributions, fundraising initiatives, community crowdsourcing, graphic design, marketing, and other operational resources.
Our current goal is to help procure and assemble 1,000 Emergency Menstrual Kits (EMKs) for girls and young women in St. Kitts and Nevis. By working alongside community partners, donors, and volunteers, we aim to deliver these essential kits by January 2027, ensuring students have access to the basic hygiene products they need to remain healthy, confident, and engaged in their education.

iHeal Wellness & Arts Foundation is proud to support the KnickerBox Project, an inspiring initiative founded in 2022 by Doris L. Clark, a dual citizen of the United States and the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis. Doris is no stranger to service or hospitality. After an accomplished career spanning decades as a flight attendant with United Airlines, she and husband retired to St. Kitts and Nevis, where she has continued her lifelong commitment to serving others. Her distinguished career also includes owning the historic Twin Oaks Inn in Martha's Vineyard and producing exceptional events as a respected event planner. Throughout every chapter of her life, one principle has remained constant– a passion for giving back.
